Privacy

The zero-cost public beta has no user account and no backend user database. Stack descriptions entered into the tool are processed in the browser.

Local testing data

The prototype may store simple event counters in your browser's local storage. They stay in that browser and are not a central analytics database.

Analytics

StackDiet uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate site usage and performance. The tool itself does not require an account. If analytics configuration changes materially, this notice will be updated.

Partner links

Approved affiliate vendors or networks may process referral data after a user voluntarily follows a tracked partner link, under their own privacy terms.

Feedback and improvement suggestions

If you use the StackDiet feedback form, we store the category, title and message you submit, plus an email address only if you choose to provide one. Submissions are reviewed manually and are not published automatically.

To reduce spam and abuse, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile and a daily submission limit. For rate limiting, StackDiet stores a one-way hash derived from the connecting network address plus a private server-side salt; the raw IP address is not stored in the feedback database. Basic technical metadata such as browser user agent, referrer and the StackDiet page from which feedback was sent may also be stored for debugging and abuse prevention.

Feedback records may be marked as new, planned, completed, declined or spam for moderation purposes.
