How StackDiet works

The goal is not to find the most software. It is to cover the jobs you actually have with the smallest sensible stack — completely free, with no signup, paywall or paid report.

Build a lean stack

Describe your work in plain language. StackDiet detects the jobs, excludes irrelevant categories and chooses complementary tools. If one product can cover more than one job well enough, it can consolidate them.

Audit what you already pay for

Paste existing subscriptions and the prices you actually pay. StackDiet calculates known monthly/annual spend and flags likely functional overlap. Missing prices are not invented.

Challenge loop

Your audit generates three shareable result angles: Score, Money and Roast. The challenge link shows the recipient the previous result and invites them to audit their own stack and try to beat it. The image is rendered locally in the browser; no image API is required.

Why the partner buttons matter

StackDiet itself costs the user €0. Some recommended products are approved affiliate partners. When a user chooses one through a StackDiet button, the provider may pay StackDiet at no extra cost to the user. Partner status does not improve ranking, and a current non-partner tool can still win the comparison.
